Lithopone is an inorganic white pigment consisting mainly of Barium Sulfate (BaSO₄) and Zinc Sulfide (ZnS). It is produced by precipitation of barium sulfide and zinc sulfate solutions, followed by filtration, drying, and calcination processes. Lithopone is valued for its excellent whiteness, opacity, chemical stability, and cost-effectiveness. It has been widely used as a white pigment and functional filler in paints, coatings, plastics, rubber, inks, and other industrial applications. Lithopone offers excellent whiteness, chemical stability, light resistance.
