Austin Black® 325 is a finely milled, bituminous coal-based black pigment and functional filler manufactured by CFI Carbon Products in the USA. Its low specific gravity, platy particle structure and excellent dispersibility make it a cost-efficient choice for rubber compounds, plastics, masterbatches, coatings, adhesives and sealants but also in coatings applications. The product can partially replace carbon black, polymer and conventional mineral fillers while supporting lower compound density, efficient processing, good barrier properties and uniform black coloration.
