Mackam D 40 is an alkyl betaine that finds uses in industrial, home and hygiene applications as well as personal care products. Mackam D 40 is stable at acid /alkaline pH and with hypochlorite/hydrogen peroxide. It is a biodegradable, high foaming surfactant and contributes a conditioning feel in personal care applications.
